PIVOT!
Ross Geller had the right idea
I’m also on Medium - check that out if you prefer 🙂 also free for you!
This one is pivots, one of the hardest things to do as an entrepreneur in my opinion.
As a founder, you have to be stubborn.
How else are you supposed to spend hundreds of hours building something no one cares about?
But with this stubbornness comes a problem. It can be so easy to get lost in your own hype. To build the wrong thing that no one wants.
Take WordRobin for example.
I’ve spent hundreds of hours over the past few months building a newsletter-writing general AI.
The problem? No one wanted it.
Most people that care about newsletters either enjoy writing and want to keep doing it, or just want to get it done - and chatGPT is perfectly fine for something like that.
So instead, I decided to pivot away - to make other kinds of content creation easier.

WordRobin is going visual!
The point is, especially when you’re just starting out, you have to be so in tune with the feedback you’re getting.
Because if you’re heads-down, believe-in-yourself grinding, you might miss the signal that points out the obvious.
WordRobin is Changing!
So here we are!
WordRobin is going visual 🙂 we are going to be tackling a very specific way of sharing information - a visual diary.
Is it a downgrade in complexity? Maybe!
Is it simpler, easier to explain, and much more targeted to a specific audience? Yessss
What’s next?
Build build build! It’s time to get a v1 out there so I can see what I got wrong this time 😄
Keep building,
Ben
Enjoying the newsletter? Please forward to a pal. It only takes 18 seconds. Making this one took 0.5 hours (thanks to my brain)
