I almost didn't make this one in time!! Too preoccupied building.

I’ve been having fun again.

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been worried sick that I might not be working on problems that are big enough, that aren’t important or impressive enough.

I’ve been able to silence those thoughts by working on a problem that I have, and resisting the temptation to generalize.

Going broad is not an advantage - it’s something you have to do to scale, but you pay a trememdous price to get there.

Think about a recipe.

If you want to make an American-style buttermilk pancake with dark chocolate chip cookies, you can probably find a recipe for that in 2 seconds.

But if you want to learn how to make all desserts your search might take years.

Don’t generalize too early!

So what am I actually working on?

Simply put - Threads!

It’s one of the only social media platforms I actually use.

And I am building something so intuitive for it that it feels like cheating 😉
